Woohoo it's 2012 already. Do you know what it means to me? That in less than 6 months I'll take a lot of tests, and by a lot of tests I mean never-ending-tests-that-(possibly)-will-drive-me-crazy, and if they go well, then I'm gonna graduate, end enter university. I hope I'm gonna make it to my dream university.
This year I don't really make a resolution list since based on my experience, I've always abandoned my list after the first couple weeks of the new year. But I still have some goals, like of course, get better scores at school and study harder so I can get into ITB (my dream university, at least until now). Other than that, I hope I'm gonna be able to pray harder, getting closer to God, be nicer, and just simply be happier.
Anyway, I've been bored with my blog's look. So since it's my first post this year, I think it's a perfect time to change it. Here's the difference between how my blog looks before and how it looks now
At first I wanted to use brown as the main color of my new layout, but I just love purple so much, what can I do? And I want something that looks more simple than the previous one, so I changed me header font and only used one colors instead of three. I'm also not using the tape strip again that I used as a background of my twitter, Facebook, and tumblr link image. I'm using a simple box now instead. So what do you think of it?
Today is the last day of Ramadhan Month. So I want to say Happy Ied Mubarak 1432 H to all of the moslems in the world!
Anyway, this morning when I opened twitter, some people on my timeline were tweeting about #2opeopleidmarry. And that is obviously one thing I often daydream about, so here is the list of names I'd like to marry if I could (not in particular order)
1. John Gomez
Because he's charming, cute, looks genuine and down to earth, wise, funny, he plays guitar in my favorite band (The Summer Set), and mmm... have I already said he's charming? I love his attitude. He can sometimes act like a kid, but then when you need him to be serious about something, he will. He's really bad at spelling but I always find it funny. The most important thing is, he's so inspirational and he can always make me smile.
2. Nick Jonas
He's also charming, cute, and looks genuine. Not to say that his band is the first pop rock band I've ever loved. Before that, I never liked anything that close to rock music. Then, he acts so mature and I love that. And ooh he wears a purity ring. He gained my respect because of that.
3. Tom Felton
Should I explain? I guess almost every girls in this world love him. No? Okay. He's just so charming with his accent and he plays his character really well in Harry Potter series.
4. Kris Allen
He started out as an underdog in American idol, but then when he started to play instruments in his performances, I fell in love. But too bad he seems to love his wife so much so.. there's no chance for me *sigh*
5. Cameron Mitchell
Once you watch The Glee Project, it's so hard not to fall in love with him. He stays true to himself, that's what matter the most.
6. Damian McGinty
His accent is so cute, his face is so cartoon-ish, he's Cameron's best friend, and he's one of the reasons why I watch The Glee Project.
7. Ashton Kutcher
It's hard not to fall in love with this kind of bad-boy-whose-smile-is-so-too-charming-to-be-true.
8. Andrew Richards
I started to love him the first time I saw him when I won a meet and greet session with his band (HelloGoodbye) last year. Since then, I couldn't stop admiring him. He's super nice, gorgeous, and looks kinda innocent. The only problem is, he loves cats so much that I think he'd rather marry a cat than marry me. Sad.
9. Riley McDonough
When I heard his song, I liked his band. When I watched his band's video, I had a crush on him. But by the time I read his tweets, I fell in love with him. He's a genius!
10. Joe Jonas
It might be not fair to put two brothers in this list but what can I do if the members of this family are just so gorgeous?
11. Logan Henderson
He plays a very cute, funny, and stupid character in Big Time Rush. It's hard not to laugh when you see him.
12. Matt Lanter
If there's no Matt Lanter in 90210, I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna watch it anymore. But since he plays this bad-on-the-outside-yet-so-sweet-on-the-inside role, it's hard to try to stop watching it.
13. Martin Johnson
He is so nice to his fans, he has a good style, and I just love him in general.
14. Rupert Grint
Other than the fact that he is cute, he is also funny. And he made me fall in love with Ron character in Harry Potter.
15. Stephen Gomez
If I can't get John Gomez, maybe I'll turn to his brother, Stephen. He's cute and all like his brother, but something that makes me them really different is, while John loves to smile and share his wise thoughts, Stephen hates life and tends to be sarcastic.
16. Skandar Keynes
Whenever I see him, I feel like I'm seeing this perfect fairy tale prince.

Because he's rich and I want his money. Also because by dating him, I'm pretty sure I'll be famous. HA!

Ok so this post is not really about my first week of senior year. It's more about something I have to figure out as soon as possible since I'm already a senior in high school.
I just deleted my old blog. I guess this is one of my ways of saying goodbye to the past. I didn't delete it before because it contains some posts I made back then when I was still in junior high, and some comments on that blog really made me smile, but I think it's time for me to make rooms for the new things. I don't use that blog again. Maybe there's someone who wants to use the url I used.
Sure all I did in the past made me who I really am today. But I don't wanna be trapped in the past anymore. Even though I had fun back then, I have to let it go. Even though I failed a couple times before, I have to move on and keep trying to write my own success story. The future is waiting for me.
The senior year had already started 6 days ago. I have to figure out what do I wanna be when I grow up in less than a 8 months. I have to work hard and pray harder. All I can do now is just trying my best and hope it will all work out later. All this time I've been saying that I want to be an architect, but I might need to say goodbye to that. Yes it's been my dream job for so long. But just because I've been willing to be an architect since I was a kid doesn't mean I may not change it right? Every time someone ask me why do I want to be an architect, my favorite thing to say is 'because I've been willing to be one since I was little'. And I realize it's not a reasonable answer. Yes being an architect sounds fun and I couldn't imagine to have another job, but maybe that's what make it all wrong. I've never thought about any other careers to pursue.
Honestly, I still haven't figured it out yet. All I know is, if I wanna be an architect, I have to find another reasons why I want to be one. Good reasons. As good and as many as possible. Wish me luck people! Hope I can find the answer soon.

Today let's make another Friday's Fancies post. I need to think about happy thoughts to refresh my brain, which in this case is I can purchase all the things I put on my set. And the theme I choose is SUMMER!! My favorite season. Not like I live in a country that has 4 seasons - Indonesia only has two seasons which are dry season and rainy season - but from what I watch in movies and read in books, it seems like a lot of fun. So here it is
4. Another thing that makes summer seems so wonderful is because people can show off their big sunglasses. I pick this Hot Pink Oversize Square Sunglasses from Topshop because it matches the belt I picked.
7. I took this picture from here (on weheartit). Riding that bicycle on a summer day, especially with the one you love (in my case it means John Gomez from a band called The Summer Set) would make it perfect!

Lately, I've been in love with coral color so I put it on this set.

5. Actually, I don't like to wear nail polish since my nails are short and not beautiful at all, so I don't want my nails to take an attention. The 10 days full of studying in the middle of the semester are finally over. Yep, the mid tests are over!! :D So, today I'm gonna link up with Brooke at Bright Wishes to create my second Wednesday Wishes post. Here are my wishes :
One. To get good scores on the tests I just had. Especially on Math and Physics studies. I am a student in science program so four most important subjects for me are math, physics, chemistry, and biology. Since I already got the result of my chemistry and biology tests, math and physics are the only two left.
Two.To get some rest and enough sleep. These 10 days have been making me lose sleep. And I'm the kind of person who loves her sleep as much as she loves shopping.
Three. To catch my dreams. I hope one day I'm gonna be able to become the interior designer of a famous boutique so when I'm going to a mall and my friend says 'That boutique sure has a great interior designer. I just can't stop myself from looking at it.' I can tell her 'I was the one who design it :)'.
Four. To help other people reach their dreams. Any kind of good dream (I mean, I'm not gonna try to help people whose dream is to become a killer or stuffs :p). Yes I know I'm not a fairy godmother who can make all the wishes come true. I haven't even make mine comes true yet. But I'll try my best to help. So, I am here now to fulfill my promise, which is doing a Friday's Fancies post. Friday's fancies is a series made by {av} from {long distance loving} where we can all create a set of our dream outfit and not caring about its price.
I made this via Adobe Photoshop. I love the color scheme that {av} made here, so I decided to make the friday's fancies based on that. I think this is a fun outfit you can wear when you hang out with your friends. And yes, as I told you before, I am currently obsessed with white dresses. No wonder I use it here hehe.
You see, I'm the kind of person who loves to wear only two colors in my total outfit. Like, if I wear a black shirt and a blue jeans, I won't wear a brown bag. I'll wear the black or blue one instead. I don't know why but I just don't feel really good if I wear too many colors in one look. And yes, mostly, those two colors I wear include black or white. For example, black and pink, white and brown or black and white. So if you're hoping to see me wearing an outfit based on blue and yellow in one look, you might have to be patient!
Actually in real life, I wear a veil. So I won't wear that scarf since it will make me look... I don't know, just kinda weird. Also, it surely is warm while I live in this tropical country. And I don't really wear wedges to hang out since my friends don't wear it too, we usually wear flats, except if we go to some events where we need to wear heels, such as birthday parties. But hey, the point of friday's fancies is to create your dream outfit, right?

Had you ever feel so happy when you were in school and the bell rang telling you that it was time for you to go home? And not just some other go-homes, because you'd have days off for the next eight days. Yes it happened to me just yesterday. My friends and I felt so happy then we went to buy some dvds and grabbed lunch. After that, we went to one of my friends' house and watch two dvds in a row, go 'eew' on the first movie and 'aaw' on the second one (well, the first movie we watched was I Love You, Philip Morris which is a story about a gay couple, while the second movie was Crazy Little Thing Called Love, a sweet romantic comedy Thailand movie) until it was late and we all went home.
Yes, as I mentioned above, I'm having eight days off, starting from this day, because my senior are having their final exams. Best of luck for them. Anyway, what would you do if you were me? Go on a vacation with your friends, hang out at some cool and new places in town, shop like there's no tomorrow? I might as well say that usually, but not this time. I've been spending this day doing some simple stuffs. This morning, I read this book titled Pretties, which is the second book of Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. Then, after that, I watched How I Met Your Mother. It's only 1 pm when I started writing this, but I've already watched 12 episodes today, isn't that crazy, and you might say, boring?
Well it's not for me. You see, I go to this school which is the best public school in town, even in my country, and it drives me crazy. It makes me busy all the time with all of the things inside it. I barely have enough time to just have a lazy day, watch tons of dvds in a day, and relax like I don't have any problem at all. So when it comes to holiday, one thing I really want to do is just relax, watch dvds, read some magazines, and sleep. Well of course doing some crazy and fun things all teenagers do will be fun too. I'm actually thinking about doing it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow or...
Okay, I think it's best if we just move on to another topic. You might be bored about that whole relaxing at home thing. You might as well skipped some parts. Paris. People say it's the city of lights. The place for lovers. The most romantic city ever. The fashion capital of the world. The home of croissants. It's one city that makes me scream 'OH MY GOD I WANNA GO THERE!!!' It's an old city filled with classical buildings. Museums and statues all over the town. Like Eiffel Tower. Or the Louvre, where you can find that famous Mona Lisa painting. This city is rich of its art, beauty, and architecture.
I want to sit outside the cafe on the street. I want to walk around its beautiful park and sit on the bench when I get tired. I wanna go to the top of Eiffel Tower and see Paris from above. I wanna see those street musicians and artist, and go to that famous Opera Garnier. I wanna hop on a boat of the Seine River and feel the windy air. I wanna see that historical Arc de Triomphe. Go to one of the oldest cathedral and most gothic architecture, Notre Dame Cathedral.
Oh Paris. I hope someday I will be able to see you with my very own eyes!
Who do you want to be when you grow up? A doctor maybe? Or a lawyer? And what are you doing now? Laying on the couch and think you have nothing else to do beside surfing the internet? Now look at the title of your tabs. What are they? If what you see are only tumblr, twitter, some bands' myspace profiles, and so on, then you're as dead as me now. I'm actually writing this as a note to myself.
In order to make your wishes come true, you have to start making it happen today. You can't just sit down and hoping that tomorrow you'll become a president. You have to stand up now and start giving a damn about what's going on in your country. You want to be a doctor, and everytime you see that super thick and big biology book, you'd say 'Naah I'm not going to study now. I still have time' ? No no you can't be like that. You have to start fighting your laziness and get your ass off of the couch.
No one will grant your wishes (unless you have a magic lamp with a genie inside :p) You better make it happen. Starting now!
I've been a dreamer for a long time, but I never really have the spirit to make my dreams come true. I still dont do what I have to do, even for the simplest of things. I'm not proud of it, of course. I'm sick of it. I want to change. But everytime I think about it, I'd say 'oh yeah I'm gonna change. Today? Or tomorrow? Well tomorrow it is.' and dang, i haven't changed yet. But now I'm saying this to myself, sometimes tomorrow has to start today.
P.S : That line I used as the title is a quote from the book 'A Book of Tomorrow' I honestly has only read the first chapter haha :p But it was good. ;)
Jadi begini. Pagi ini gue iseng-iseng buka website Program Studi Arsitektur ITB, terus gue download pdf kurikulumnya. Nah setelah gue liat-liat, gue makin pengen masuk SAPPK ITB. Terus, kan mahasiswa/i ITB harus ngambil 4 external elective courses and 2 internal elective courses. Setelah gue liat-liat, untuk yang internal gue pengen ngambil Real Estate and Housing and Settlement Design. Buat yang externalnya, pengen yang Principle of Interior Design, Interior Acoustics and Lighting, Interior Design Computer Simulation, and maybe Interior Design and Psychology. Tapi itu cuma bayangan gue sekarang sih. Ga tau deh ke depannya akan gimana haha. Pengen banget masuk SAPPK ITB! Apalagi karena sang idola jg mau masuk ITB... HA HA :p
Nah oke lah lanjut. Abis itu gue buka-buka link yang ada dari website Perancangan Arsitektur ITB kan, terus gue akhirnya ngeliat desain-desain bangunan di Indonesia yang ga kalah kerennya sama di luar negeri. Nih contohnya

Then this, a Marine Research Center in Bali. Buat Tsunami gitu deh. Gue juga ga ngerti sih. Males baca artikelnya :p ahhaa
KEREN BANGET GA SIIIH? Menurut gue sih super kereeen ahhaha. Maaf norak. Tapi ya keliatan kan bangunan di Indonesia juga keren-keren. Ya kita harus banggalah! ;)
