a movie and a girl who plays in it

Finally, after waiting so long, yesterday I watched Ramona and Beezus. I really wanted to watch this movie. Why, you ask? Because there’s Selena Gomez in this movie. Yep, she has been one of my favorite female artist in the whole world. She’s beautiful, nice, sweet, smart, the youngest ever UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, talented, an amazing actress, dresses age appropriate... just perfect. Well pardon me, but if one day – when I’m still alive – a bunch of aliens come to earth and killed all of the men so that we all girls will have a crush on each other instead, I think Selena is gonna be my first crush after that. Hahaha :p

The 14 years old version of me had this super huge celebrity crush on Nick Jonas (the almost-17 years old version of me still have it too, but probably not as big as 3 years ago). And you know that Nick and Selena dated back then right? So when I heard about that, I was like ‘woow they are like the most perfect couple ever!!' I mean, Nick Jonas is everything I wished my soul mate would be, and Selena Gomez is everything I wished I could be. Too bad that relationship had to end.

Anyway, here’s the story of Ramona and Beezus.

Ramona (Joey King) is an adventurous kid who has vivid imagination and too much energy. Well because of that, she becomes a trouble maker and often make people upset, especially her sister, Beezus (Selena Gomez). She hates the fact that she has caused so many trouble. She wants to be a good girl and makes her parents proud of her. So when her Dad lost his job, she tries so hard to help him and her family. Yes, this is a story about a 7 years old little sister who tries and tries to make things get better but mostly, she just ends up making it worse.

In my opinion, this is a great family movie with cute and sweet story. Very entertaining and heartwarming. You can laugh yet at some points, you can cry too. I think you all should watch this movie!

So that’s it. Gaah I can’t believe that I’m going back to school the day after tomorrow. And what’s worse is, the mid term exam will start on Monday. Ooh I think I gotta study right now. Wish me luck!

Blessings

There is a memory in my heart today
That passing years cannot take away
An empty space no one can fill
I love you still and always will
The tears in my eyes, I can wipe away
But the ache in my heart still always stay

- Achmad Bakrie -

I was supposed to bring a biography book of a famous Indonesian person last Wednesday. But then I forgot to bring one. Silly me. Thank God there are some biography books in my school's library so I borrowed one. The book that I borrowed is about Achmad Bakrie. I haven't heard about him before. Turns out, he is the father of that famous Afrizal Bakrie. What surprised me is the fact that Achmad Bakrie loved to write some poems, and I think his poems are beautiful.

So anyway, this week has been one gloomy-no spirit-feels like crying week. But even in the most difficult times of your life, you can still find some good things. Here are some positive things from my week so far :
1. I've been trying to forgive myself better than before. I think you wont be able to live happily if you still think about yourself as a girl-who-has-too-many-faults.
2. It shows me that us, students in 8 shs, are a real family. We support each other, we console each other, we try to make each other smile, because we are one. Together, better, stronger!
3. I have the best of best friends anyone can ever ask for. On Tuesday, since it was a holiday, I went to PIM with two of them, which are Nadea and Nisa. We talked and they made me feel better and happier. After that, Nadea and I went to watch No Strings Attached and Nisa watched another movie with her bf. Wanna know my opinion about the movie? Here it is : Ashton Kutcher is so handsome and hot and cute and Natalie Portman makes me jealous. Hahaha
4. I've been trying to ignore some negative thoughts that people said. I think my life is complicated enough to even care about those things. I want to bring some positive energy to everyone.
5. I feel blessed because I am still alive and surrounded by so many lovely people. Including my blog friends :)

Three is Better Than One

Hey fellas! I thought I would spend this day at one place where I could do all the things I said I would do on the previous post. But well, I didn't. I spent my day at different places. First, I went to Kemang, tried to find a gift for Indah. But ffuu, I couldn't find it. Most stores were still closed when I got there. And I was like 'Hello, it's 12 pm!' -,-

so then, I accompanied my Dad to Ikapi Pusat at Cikini. He had a meeting there. On our way there, we stopped by at 7 eleven since I said I was hungry. Then I ate a big bite and drank a cup of hot chocolate. Ooh life's good.

After that, my Dad asked 'what are you going to do while I have my meeting? I'm telling you, it's gonna be a long meeting, and I bet you're gonna feel so bored. ' zzzzz so I decided to go to TIM and watch Narnia : The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. But, I arrived there at 3.50 pm and the movie would start at 5.20 pm. I asked myself 'what are you going to do? You came here only with your new driver who doesn't know jalan-jalan di ibu kota.' Oh fuck yeah I'm forever alone. But then BANG, I saw it. That Planetarium building. I haven't been there for a very very long time. So I went there.

It amazed me. How beautiful it would be if I could see such a clear night sky like that from my house. Oooh sometimes I wanna live in a village. Everything seems so perfect there. Ride a horse, play with my neighbors, look at the stars on a clear night sky, fall in love with a friendly cowboy, ride the same horse with my lover, get married, and live happily ever after. Oke I surely know things like that only appear in movies. But stil...

Oke enough about that.

So, let's talk about Narnia. People say this third movie of Narnia series is not as good as the other two. People say it's not worth it. But I don't care. Wanna know my opinion? As long as there's Skandar Keynes in that movie, it must be great. Oh yeah he's so adorable and hot. A kind of prince charming every girl would ever wanted. Ben Barnes does look good too in that movie. Bagi yang pengen cuci mata, bisa nih nonton film ini (Y) haha

Lilliandil: Travelers of Narnia, I am your guide.
King Caspian: You are most beautiful.
Lilliandil: If it is a distraction for you, I-I can change forms.
Edmund Pevensie and King Caspian: Noo!

Eustace. A cousin of the Pevensie. He showed up as a very annoying boy, but ended up as a hero.

Aslan, Lucy, Edmund, and King Caspian

The Wizard of Oz

I bet most people have already heard about this movie. But have they actually watch it? Well I actually have heard about this movie since like forever, but it was just yesterday when I actually watched it.

The Wizard of Oz is an American classic musical movie which was released on 1939. It's a story about a farmgirl named Dorothy who lived in Kansas with her aunt Em, Uncle Henry, and a dog named Toto. One day she ran away because the sheriff in her town wanted to take Toto away. But then he met a fortune teller who told her that aunt Em was sick. So she went back home. But on her way back, there was a twister. When she finally arrived at home, she couldn't meet her aunt and uncle immediately because they were already in the storm cellar (or something like that. I dont really know what's its name :p) so she entered the house. Then she got unconscious. When she woke up, she found herself on the magic Land of Oz.

Then here's the story begin. She met Gelda, the Good Witch of the North. Gelda told her that Dorothy just killed the Wicked Witch of the East, and the Wicked Witch of the West is now angry. Dorothy was so sad. All she wanted to do was come back home. Then the good witch told her to go to Emerald City and find this mysterious Wizard of Oz who could granted her wish. She told her to just follow the yellow brick road.

On her way to the Emerald City, she met a Scarecrow who was hoping he could have a brain, a Tin Man who was really longing for a heart, and a Lion who really wanted to have the courage. So they had this journey. Ooh and don't forget that the Wicked Witch of The West was trying to kill Dorothy.

What I like about this movie is because first, it's classic. And it's musical. Then, this story showed that that there's no place like home. Ooh and the scenes taken at the farm were filmed in black and white then colored in sepia tone. While the scenes taken at the Land of Oz were technicolor.

Oke maybe you don't understand about what I said. Sorry I'm not a good reviewer :p. Anyway, just watch this movie! It is definitely a great movie (if not how could it be so popular right?).

It All (Almost) Ends Here

You studied with Hermione. You stumbled with Ron. You hid creatures with Hagrid. You laughed with Fred and George. You fought with Voldemort. You forgot with Neville. You got caught with the DA. You rebelled against Umbridge and Snape. You cheered on Gryffindor. You kept up the rivalry with Draco Malfoy and the Slytherins. You worked with Dumbledore. You stuck with Harry til the end. Now it's nearly over, and now all you can do is remember, and thank J.K. Rowling for the time of your life.

Someone on tumblr wrote that. And when I read it, I suddenly wanted to cry. I mean, I grew up with this story about a boy who lived, fighting The Dark Lord who must not be named. It's been a part of my life for so long. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was the first novel I read in english, when I was in 6th grade, cause I loved it too much. I remember the excitement of waiting for the next book to comes out and I always feel satisfied everytime I finished reading the book. It's the kind of series that I surely love to read it over and over again.

And the movies... I remember when I was just a kid and I wasn't really an internet-kind-of-girl. But sometimes, I turned my computer and modem on, just to search for Daniel's, Rupert's, Emma's, or Tom Felton's photos.

Gosh I surely am gonna miss this. Thank God the first part of the Harry Potter and the DH movie is so greaaat! It got me laughing and wanted to cry at the same time. Two thumbs up for David Yates! Hope the second part is gonna be as great as this one. Or even better! :D

So so

You don't choose who you fall for. You just fall and you get this person who is all wrong, but yet so right. You know that you like them so much, except sometimes they drive you insane and you just can't explain it.

Hello again! Well oke, I know I'm such a bad bad and inconsistent blogger. Gaah sorry for that. Sometimes when I have something to write here - for example when I met Andrew Richards, this super hot ukulele and guitar player from HelloGoodbye :3 - I don't have time for blogging. And when I finally have enough time to write, there's nothing important to talk about and that topic I wanted to write here before had already been so.... basi -__-

So oke, first thing first. I am jealous of my fellow ang Mesis 22. Why? Anyway, congratulations to Oddy!!! :D

And then, last night I watched Step Up 3 in 3D. That movie was crazy and sick. Love the moves, love the characters, love the scripts, but most of all, I love Rick Malambri, the guy who played Luke! hhahaha pemeran utama cowok di Step Up selalu ganteng-ganteng banget ya. Mulai Channing Tatum, Robert Hoffman, dan sekarang si Rick Malambri

Ganteng kan?

Dan ini si ganteng Andrew Richards aka Andy, bareng gue :D

Oke ignore my face. Liat Andy nya ajaaa :3

Oh iya dia ngebales tweet gue looh uwuwu seneng banget :')

Letters to Fatimah Syawie

Yesterday, I went to Penvil and watched Letters to Juliet my my Mom. Do you want me to give you some clue about the story?

Oke, so, there's this girl named Sophie who's a fact checker. But actually, her passion is to be a writer. She has a fiance named Victor who is a very food chef and he's about to open a restaurant. Victor's going to meet some of his restaurant-business-men friends at Venora and they decided to go together and they called it Pra-Honeymoon or something. Then, when they finally be there, all Victor cared about was just about his restaurant and it made Sophie tired, so they decided, Victor can go and take care of his business while Sophie will go around the city. Then Sophie met the Secretary of Juliet - some people who reply the letters that other girls write for Juliet-and she became on of them. She found this letter from 1957, and when she replied it,.......... I should stop there, because all I wrote there were a total shit. I mean, it even confuses me when I read it again -____-

So anyway, go watch the movie yourself. It wasn't the Harry Potter or Iron Man kind of movie that make you want to tell everyone 'THAT MOVIE IS AMAZING! YOU SHOULD WATCH IT!', but it was good enough I think. At least for a girl like me. Who absolutely loves that cheezy kind of movie. This kind of movie is my guilty pleasure hehe ;) But it was good, really.

Anyway, why is this post titled 'Letters to Fatimah Syawie' not 'Letters to Juliet'? Because well the first time you see me, you'll capture the image of Juliet in me. Because we both are pretty, smart, the daughter of the rich man. I-Was-Just-Kidding :p haha.

The truth is, it's because, today I found these letters from my elementary school friends. There were a lot. Most of them are the 'Happy birthday' or 'Have fun at your new school! Don't you ever forget me, okay?' kind of letter. And honestly, I miss all of those times now. The time when we gave our childhood pictures to each other so that we will never forget each other. The time when we went to my Grandparents' house and we watched World Cup together. I never really like World Cup, you know, but I did enjoy that time :) I even miss the time when people call me 'Fatimah' not 'Ima'. But it's okay, I prefer it when people call me Ima anyway hehe. So, I'm just really really glad that I still have them by my side now. We haven't been to the same school for 4 years, but we still are good friends, aren't we?

Love you all people
XOXO
Ima :)

PS : Sorry for the bad grammar and everything -_____-

Movie Story 3

This is gonna my my 3rd post about a movie! ;)

Yesterday, I went to FX with a few of Ang Mesis 22. There were 11 of us. Me, Midia, Adila, Vanny, Bilgis, Ghani, Oddy, Bacil, Qulloh, Tasya, and Amira.

And we watched....

TOY STORY 3!!!!

That was a great movie with a perfect ending. At the beginning, there were these two creatures playing an inaudible movie named Day & Night. That was a little weird, but pretty funny and inspiring tho. Then the real story began.

Andy has already turned into an 18 years old boy. He's about to go to college. In 3 days to be exact. The old toys thought Andy doesn't love them anymore. For some reason, they were trapped in a daycare named Sunnyside. They cannot escape and back to Andy's house because it turns out, some other toys at Sunnyside, are just not as nice as the gang thought before. Those toys' leader, named Lotso, who at first acted so nice and welcome, was actually a very very bad bad bear.

This movie is about a journey about how Woody and his friends can get back to Andy, their owner, who actually loves them all, even until now. This story mixes action, comedy and drama. And you won't be disappointed with the ending scene, because it definitely is the best part of the movie.

This is a very funny, inspiring, deep and touching movie. It is definitely a masterpiece. Even if you're 5 or 90, you should watch this movie!! Trust me! ;)

The Sands of Time

Today, I went to school at 11.30 when everyone else were home already. And guess what? Gue kena remed math dan fisika -__________- It wasn't that shocking and I didn't feel really bad either until Afiq mulai mengolok-ngolok gue dan membuat gue pengen ngelempar dia ke lautan buaya rakus yang kejam :p

Anyway, after that, I went to Pejaten Village with my mother and we watched Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time. Yeah I know I'm a little late. We bought two boxes of Sweet Popcorn and a box of salty Popcorn (yeah there were only two of us). We ate that and finished it even before the real story of the movie started hahaha.

And, the movie. I think it wasn't a good movie. It was a GREAT one ;) Even my Mom - who never really likes action movie that much - said it was a really nice movie. I really love the idea of that story and personally I think Prince Dastan is cute :3 wkwkwk. I really love the love story of Prince Dastan and Tamina. It just looks so cute and sweet and romantic and.. enviable!!!! hahahha. Princess Tamina really is pretty and elegant, oh I love her grace. It definitely is a must-watch-movie :)

After that, we ate at mr. Pancake. Ooh the pancakes taste so good, and it's not expensive, really really want that yummy pancake again! Nyuuum!

Hey look at this post dear mr. pancake owner, you should give me a discount coupon or something for promoting you! :p

P.S : Wish me luck for the remedial test please! Thank you! :)

Rewind

found it here

I had a sleepover last Saturday night at Nadea's house with Fira and Nisa. And I had so much fun! :D

First, at about 4 pm, we went to PIM. We wanted to watch The A Team at first, but since we couldn't get the tickets, we decided to watched SATC 2 (itupun duduknya pisah-pisah saking penuhnya PIM). Then while we were waiting for the movie to starts, we killed time by eating at fish & Co. Oh my God I totally lost so much money there -____- but anyway we talked about so many things especially about our high school life or rewinding about our junior high school moments.

Then, the movie. It was a good movie. Well of course it has some 'dirty' scenes, but it's not really like what I thought before. I actually like that movie. I imagine if we (me, Nisa, Nadea, and Fira) watched it on the same row (ga mencar-mencar) pasti banyak banget scene yang kami komentari terus heboh sendiri hahaha

After that, we went back to Nadea's house. We turned the TV on to watch World Cup but it turns out, we didn't watch it at all. We were so busy playing truth or dare. I got a dare to tweet 'kok @xoxoag makin ganteng ya? :)' and called Eja and said 'Ja, lo lagi apa? Nonton bola ya? Lo dukung siapa? Dukung gue aja!' haha sorry guys it was just a dare, please don't be ilfeel! :p

After that, kami saling membajak twitter masing-masing. Handphone atau iPod (pokoknya yg lg online account twitter kami) kami oper secara bergilir terus kami tweet yang aneh-aneh gitu hahaha. You may think it's unimportant and childish, but we don't really care of what people think about us. Because well, that's what we do since we were in junior high : acting as if the world is our own :)

Then we went to sleep. The next day, we had some truth or dare again, but since we couldn't find the embarrassing dare that we can do from home anymore, it turned to be 'truth or truth'. We had some other games, told the untold stories (or even the told one :p), and we had so much fun. I really really glad I went to that sleepover. Thank you Nadea, Fira, and Nisa! :)

Then....

Today, at school, I talked with some ex-biling smabel girls such as Inta, Ubit, Inas, Sikil, Petra, Riri, Hani, Dila, and so on. Aaah it really felt like a rewind, a rewind about what we used to do back then in junior high. I miss them so much! Ubit and I even had this random thought about how will it be if at second grade, all of us, ex-biling smabel, go to the same class again hahahhaa.

Anyway that's all I want to share, thank you for reading this unimportant post, good bye and have a nice day! ;)
